This is my Ender 3 cooling fan duct. This is modeled to take all the strengths of the stock ender 3 cooling and improve upon it with the same design principles.
1. Maintain airflow:
Many people's ducts are extremely narrow causing high pressure in the duct that the tiny stock fan cannot push. Mine was designed to be 80% of the output area of the stock fan. (This has changed countless times idk what it is rn).
2. Maintain low profile:
Many ducts hang low or level with the nozzle tip, this can cause accidental crashing into binder clips ruining prints. I'm trying my best to leave clearance for clips but wow is it close.
3. Concentrate airflow directly under nozzle tip:
This is the downfall of the stock fan, it has no focused air stream. I am attempting to customize this perfectly to achieve enough general airflow under the nozzle for decent prints. This includes angling the vent and reducing area of output to ~80%. (Without high pressure)(not comparable to bullseye or somethi
