Flower Fruit Fly Trap

Another fly trap, but this time for crown cap bottles. If you like, you can decorate your trap as a flower.
My wife likes it.

Addendum 2025: Apparently, the petals are indeed important for the function. A comparison with and without
the corolla (with the same fluid) showed that it is used as an "approach platform"; without it, the trap is, let's say, ineffective.

Noch eine Fliegenfalle, diesmal aber für Kronkorkenflaschen. Wer mag, kann seine Falle als Blume dekorieren.
Meine Frau mag es.

Nachtrag 2025: Offenbar sind die Blütenblätter tatsächlich für die Funktion wichtig. Ein Vergleich mit und
ohne Blütenkrone (bei gleicher Flüssigkeit) hat gezeigt, dass sie als "Anflugplattform" genutzt wird; ohne ist
die Falle, sagen wir mal, ineffektiv.
