Flower Spiral

Thought I might try to take the printer to the edge and test an unprintable design... still running, but its fun to see the legs wobble while the nozzle tries to somehow add some more blobs to every layer....

Initial Idea was to have it for flowers to climb it, seems to be more of a printer test though ;-)


update: I created a second version with 4 spirans and 4 legs going up - lets see whether that adds enough stability to make it printable

second version did come pout in petg - but still very flaky.

third version has now printed successfully in PLA - coloumns diameter increased to 5mm and spirals in triangular shape to make printing easier.

print with 3 walls and without infill, zhop activated to avoid the nozzle pushing the legs to the side during print.
beware of stringing ;-)
