This is a cable chain for the FLSUN 3d printer. When I finally assembled this unit, my question was: "WTF were the engineers thinking when they built this without cable management?". This resolves the cable management issue.
You will need to print:
24 - ChainSegment (the actual chain)
24 - ChainLid (the part that keeps the cables in the chain)
1 - Flsun Moving Carriage Side Chain Mount (the hot-end mount)
1 - Frame mount for flsun chain (the chasis mount)
You will need:
4- M4x8 screws
4- M4 nuts
4- zip ties
I located the most flexible coat hanger I could find and used the flsun cable wrap to bind it to the Bowden tube. This makes the Bowden tube follow a more perfect arc and accounts for the loss of the wiring.
The carriage-side bolts onto the stock carriage and the frame side bolts onto the stock frame. You may need to use the slightly longer screws provided with the unit to properly bolt the carriage side to the carriage.
