I saw quite a few things on here for fly tying bobbins, but most required a lot of parts that I just didn't have around the house.

I took inspiration, and designed this holder for standard sewing thread spools.

All you need extra is a rubber band or hair tie to keep tension on the spool!

In my photo, I've used a mechanical pencil barrel to feed the thread into, but I've included a printable barrel instead if you want to go that route.
