I designed a battery mod for the FlySky FS-I6. In the holder is room for a 18650 battery holder.
With a Linear Voltage Regulator 7805 you can convert the 7.4v volt to 5 volt for your transmitter.
You can connect the18650 batteries to your transmitter without soldering.
Use 2 dummy batteries and connect your wires to the dummie batteries.
