This is my attempt to create foldable filament spool holder with bearings for spool.
When there is need to move printer, or you will need some more space on table, just fold this holder upwards and you are done.
In folded state, it takes only 43mm of space around printer.
Many variants are included, just select and print what variant suits your needs.
Printed parts:
1x main holder
1x drum of your choice - this drum should be longer than filament spool width
1x mount of your choice - depending on your printer frame and mounting position
Needed hardware:
2x 608ZZ bearing
1x M8x60 screw (DIN 933, head for 13mm spanner)
1x M8 washer
3x M8 nut
1x M3x35 screw
1x M3 nyloc nut
Assembly instructions:
1. Put M8 screw through main holder.
2. Add M8 Washer, 608ZZ bearing and M8 nut (in this order) and tighten.
3. Add M8 nut and screw top end of nut cca 35mm from main base.
4. Insert second 608ZZ bearing into drum from side with flange.
5. Put drum assembly onto M8 s
