As seen on my instagram! @edwardmakesthings
This is a concept that was inspired by ProperPrinting, but I wanted to solve the problem of strength in the necessary axes... so I made a foldable design.
The inner-diameter of this design is 15mm. You should be able to scale up if needed but likely cannot scale down. I designed this as the smallest possible variant.
I recommend using pliers to close the links.
**There are 3 different styles so far:**
- A basic round cable that can be oriented in 4 different directions and rotate both back and forward.
- A "one direction" round cable that can be oriented in 4 different directions, but can only rotate forward. This is good for more constrained situations.
- A tight-radius round cable that can only be oriented in 1 direction but allows for tighter corners.
In the near future I would like to design variants which can be mounted to 2020 extrusion or other things to create corners or secured points.
