Folding Shelf for Camper. Measures 8 inches deep and just over 24 inches wide. When folded down it is about 1 inch off the wall.
I designed this foldable shelf for my camper I made from a cargo trailer. I want to use the trailer as a cargo trailer from time to time so I need to be able to have things on the wall easily removed or take up minimum space. It's not a huge load bearing shelf. I just need it to hold my CPAP machine, a battery for the CPAP and a couple cell phones.
Assembly:
I used 2.85mm filament for the hinges. The hinges are tight per design. I don't want the shelf flopping around when I am driving. If it is too tight for you, hit the hinge gaps with a little sand paper or a file. I also made holes for pieces of filament to help line up the two halves when you glue them together. I use CA glue with great success.
