Description Model of the Small Robot that Taught Many How to Code! In the module/course on Functional and Object-Oriented Programming (FOP), many people learn programming with the Java Hamster or, in this case, the FOP Bot. To give this little figure the recognition it deserves, I’ve created a 3D model of it. It's my first model, and despite some challenges with the connections, I think it turned out quite well overall. I'd love to hear your feedback! Assembly Instructions: Connecting the feet, legs, and torso: Apply glue to the current hole in shoes and torso. Insert the legs (small side) into the shoes and the larger side into the torso. You may need to press them in with pliers or a blunt object, as the fit can sometimes be tight. Let it dry before handling. Notes on Printing & Multicolor: For multicolor printing, the legs and torso need to be printed separately. I’ve found that the legs work best with 80% infill for a sturdier build, while the torso and shoes only require 15%. Additionally, the torso and shoes are printed together as a single piece. This 3D model was inspired by the Fop-Bot from the Functional and Object-Oriented Programming (FOP) course. A huge shoutout to the authors of the Fop-Bot GitHub repository!
