Hey guys, here is my attempt at making a foraging knife! I really enjoy hunting for wild foragables in Michigan, such as morel mushrooms, chanterelle mushrooms, chicken of the woods, and many others. This little knife is the perfect tool for helping to harvest all of these delicious edibles! While it may not have the rigidity that a metal knife has, it has plenty enough strength to cut through wild mushrooms and plants, and its super light-weight. This knife is also the perfect gardeners tool for harvesting homegrown fruits and veggies!! The pins on this knife can be a little tricky to get in all the way, but I have found a hammer to work well, or just using your foot/hand and a hard surface to help force them in all the way! Once the pins are in, this thing is solid! My print profile features 3 wall loops and 30% infill to help give the knife a more solid feel and added durability. I recommend printing the blade at 100% infill, as that piece needs to be strong! I hope you enjoy!
