Force Field post. Forbidden Planet

Build video for the Force Field post coming to youtube soon.

I used 4 feet of ABS 4 inch plastic pipe for the post. The light up fins are 3d printed. You could mold one and cast clear ones or if you have the tools you can cut, rout and flame polish proper ones. I used a low cost Xmass light set that has 8 different presets to light the post.
The base cone can be printed as one part if you have a large 3d printer or in two parts on a smaller printer.
The clear fins can be printed with or with out the mounting frames . The screen used prop had mounting frames to hold the clear plexiglass fins to the steel 4 inch tube used for the post.
