A massive, quadrupedal beast, built like a gorilla crossed with a bear. It stands hunched on long arms and thick hind legs, about 3x wider than a human. Pure tank silhouette.
Body
The entire body is made of twisted bark, thick roots, and vines woven together like muscle. The surface is gnarled wood with patches of moss and lichen, especially across the back and shoulders.
The arms are disproportionately long and end in huge, root-clawed hands with five thick talons each. The legs are stout and digitigrade, ending in heavy paws.
Dozens of sharp, bone-white thorns and broken branches protrude from the shoulders, back, elbows, and knuckles.
Chest Core
The defining feature: a large, circular cavity in the center of the chest housing a glowing, amber-white core. The core is wrapped in a ring of bark that looks like a ribcage or seed pod, pulsing with light.
