I noticed that with other watchstand designs my watch frequently wouldn't charge because the magnetic connection wasn't strong enough to overcome the fixture.
In this design there's just enough friction to hold the cable in place, with enough clearance to allow the charger to magnetically connect freely.
Designed for my Gen 3 Explorist, but may fit other models.
