Four way hinge grid

This was a thought exercise in making super flexible mechanical hinge grid. This is not really useful in the current state.
I got this idea in my head and decided to print it out to see how it would go.

This is does do
* demonstrates Full range of motion in on 4 points
* uses pure mechanical hinges and ball joints to achieve a very flexible thing :)

The known issues
* the connection bars are very fragile and can break
* resizing the grid requires hard coded values
* resizing the nodes requires a ton of readjustment
* not parametric
* overly tight tolerances

I don't plan to make this parametric ( there are patterns i'm just too lazy to figure them out)

All in all, the idea does (sort of) work but i don't see any use for it.

Maybe one of you can come up with an application for this.
