Freezer and Kitchen latch

I have a fridge / freezer in the garage, and when the kid slams the fridge door, the freezer door comes open. I found a latch online, but the dimensions did not fit my setup. I made my own, in Fusion 360, fully parameterized version, which is also available for download here. Key here too is that the flap can dislodge from the lever base. This is intentional, because kids will rip this open without thinking about the latch. So instead of breaking things, it will just come apart, and you can easily put it back on again. I printed mine in PETG for extra flexibility, but any material will likely work fine.Updates2025-07-02: I added the parametric version!
