We wanted to hang our beach chairs from the wall. Why go buy some mass produced hook when one can make something from plywood and 1x6 lying around the house? Instant tidy!
The 1x board has a 45 degree bevel cut along the top edge, bevel facing the wall. I used (and the crossmember slots are sized for) 3mm or 1/8" plywood (or MDF).
