I aim to make a selection of BASES and ORBS. Mainly as a learning project for Blenders functions.
The Orbs will have complex geometry and unsupported overhangs, these can be compensated for:
FDM: In CURA turn on "Make Overhangs Printable" in Experimental options (V5.8.1)
RESIN: In UVTOOLS just delete all islands. This will only effect the bottom part of the sphere, which you can't see anyway.
I've included options for the BASE to be compatable with MagHex tiles (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3530085)
