Le Fuchi- Kashira (縁-頭) : sont les pièces qui se trouvent entre le Tsuba (garde) et la Tsuka (poignée) et sur le pommeau du sabre.
Autour du fuchi, est écrit un proverbe signifiant "on ne peut pas couper la gentilesse avec un sabre"
