Inscribed with the motto 'Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.'The shield on the Garuda's chest is divided into five sections, each symbolizing the principles of Pancasila: the star (belief in one God), chain (humanity), banyan tree (unity), bull (democracy), and rice and cotton (social justice).
