Here's an ironing test that can really help you dial in your settings. The lowest stage on the test lists the speed and has no ironing at all, so you can also see how well the filament performs with no ironing at all. How it works: Right off the bat this model will test your printers ironing skills with a range of speeds and flow percentages. The test runs at a speed from 15mms-45mms in 5mms intervals and a ironing flow of 0%-60% in 5% intervals. Usually your best settings will be found in the sub 50mms range. The provided Kobra S1 and Kobra 3 profiles are set with anycubics high quality 0.20mm settings, but with 1 wall to save time. There is also a generic 3mf that can be loaded and used with your personal settings. My results and recommendations: The test uses just over 50g of filament for the full run, after that you really just need to test the same speed on other filaments. I have found that one speed outperforms all others based on your printers setup. The default is ironing speed is 30mms but thanks to this test I noticed that 40mms created noticeably better top surfaces overall and depending on the surface size may require no ironing all. Speeds and percentages can be edited so if need be you can make changes and test even faster speeds. Hope it helps you lock in your settings!
