Fume/Smoke Extractor hose
I recently acquired a laser engraver, and was using a fume/smoke extractor, but my wife kept complaining about the burning/smoke odor.

I cobbled together an enclosure for the engraver, and using a sump pump discharge hose from Harbor Freight, I designed threaded ends for it. One fits onto the fume/smoke extractor, and the other will fit through a slightly opened window, or in my case, into a hole/slot I cut into a connector splice collar for my laundry dryer vent. I didn't want to cut a permanent hole in either the dryer vent duct or the duct pipe that goes into the attic, so I cut into the cheap, removable connector, instead. I then sealed it (you can use hot glue, silicone caulk, or Flex Seal spray) to prevent any smoke loss.

You'll need to cut the smooth ends off the discharge hose to get to the threads.
