Fursuit Mask / Base

SCALE:
honestly I don’t remember what scale I printed it at, but you’ll definitely need to scale it up a LOT. I recommend measuring the width of your head and using that as a baseline. print both pieces at the same scale (obviously)


RECOMMENDATION FOR JAW ATTACHMENTS:
- I drilled a hole through the jaw and the headbase so they lined up, then used a small screw and nut to cold them together, acting as a hinge. Before drilling, make sure the headbase overlaps the back of the jaw, and the front of the mouth is lined up.
- mark the hole to drill first, then use a Dremel tool. NOT A DRILL. too much pressure WILL crack the print.
- You can print with low infill and thin walls, honestly it doesn’t make a huge difference.
- you will probably want to attach something stretchy or elastic to hold the jaw closed, sine it will hang open unless it fits your head perfectly. I’ve attached images for reference.
