Andersen Powerpole connectors have become the standard power connectors in many ham radio stations. Gerald Crenshaw (WD4BIS) has created a DIY instructions for a fused 5 connector distribution box.
His instructions are at http://www.qsl.net/wd4bis/DstFuse5.pdf. His design is based on a Radio Shack 270-1802 project box. Unfortunately, Radio Shacks are less available and when available, you still have the difficult task of carving up the box.
My files are a remix of Printbus' generic case and lid to recreate the Radio Shack box. Holes are added in the lid for the Powerpoles, fuses and led. This box includes flanges for easy mounting.
To make this project you will have to construct the PCB in accordance with WD4BIS instructions.
