Hello!
This is my G3DK project. The set contains the following items:
The complete extruder (Chimera Chinese version) including belt holder, fan holder, LED holder and cable holder.
The stepper motor holders for the Z-axis
Stepper motor holder for the X-axis
This construction is based on the linear guides MGN12, the upper stepper motor brackets are pushed onto the guides and hold by themselves. If this is not the case, there is a hole for screwing in the holders. The motor couplings MUST be free of play!
The linear guides are mounted laterally and the distance to the frame is very small to minimize vibrations and levers. This makes the print much cleaner.
The X-axis holders are designed for 2020 extrusion.
I would print the stepper motor holders and belt holders made of PETG because this material does not break and is very tough. During my first attempts with ABS I broke the belt holder.
The belt wedges hold the belt perfectly and do not require any screws.
