This project contains a mount for the G4-RF1 gas meter from Herman Pipersberg Jr. GmbH to attach an ESP32-Cam to it.The ESP32-Cam can be used in combination with the project “AI on the Edge Device” (GitHub: https://github.com/jomjol/AI-on-the-edge-device) to read the gas meter and send the measured values to Homeassistant via MQTT. While working on this project, I managed to reduce the filament consumption from approximately 100 g of PETG at the beginning to about 51 g now, which leads to a reduction in consumption of almost 50 %, while the stability is still far more than sufficient. The 3D model consists of two central elements:Gas Meter MountThe attachment, which is placed directly on the gas meter, is designed to fit tightly and simply needs to be slid onto the front.
