I made these for Gamma Wolves but I can see their use in other games.
The base huggers accept 9mm dice and 5mm magnets. The bling accepts 3mm magnets
The intent is that you use this to track pilot stress and reactor stress. I use red and green dice for this.
Install a magnet on the edge of your base, install a 5mm magnet in the base hugger and maybe a little extra bling on top of the hugger. I would suggest decorating your bases first so you can leave a little spot clear. The magnets should have enough force to hold on even through a thin layer of texture paint.
I use number 9mm dice and they are a nice fit and make it easy to track stress.
The hugger I printed in TPU for make it easier to install the magnet and dice, you don't have to worry so much about printing tolerances when your filament flexes. The bling I printed in PLA, because it's easy and available.
For reference that base is 80mm, which I use for medium frames. They are equally unobtrusive on the 50mm bases
