Garden Bunny

This is a base that can be used to support larger flower pots. In my case, I use three of these for every pot that I want supported.

Background: Several years ago, my wife purchased some cement rabbit-shaped figures to support potted plants on our patio. Recently, one of these cracked and needed to be repaired. We were unable to find a replacement, so I turned to the Digitizer to try and scan and print a replacement. This object is the results of that effort.

I originally scanned the object in early October when I first got my
Makerbot Digitizer. The original scanned object was ok, but the platform in the back of the model was uneven.

In late November, Makerbot released version 2.40 of the software which combines multiple scans of the same object. (MultiScan). Using this version, I was able to rescan the original object and obtain a much cleaner model.
