This a cap for the top of garden stakes. These are useful for a couple of reasons. When using stakes to support plant netting the stake will sometimes rip through the netting. Another reason is to protect the gardener from poking their eye (this happens, ask my wife).
The stl file is a cap with a 1.5 inch diameter and a 0.5 inch hole for the pole. The idea is for you to measure the pole diameter and then scale the x y and z appropriately in the slicer. For example if your pole has a 0.4 inch diameter, in your slicer, scale x y and z by 80% (0.4/0.5 = 80%). Its not absolutely necessary to scale z but the shape will change if you don't - not a big deal
.
I printed this with TPU so it can fit the stake tightly. TPU also makes a nice soft surface.
