Garden Tool - Weed Puller + Spring Loaded Ejector

Thank you for taking the time to view my Garden Weed Puller + Ejector! For this challenge, I wanted to test myself to create a robust and fun weeding tool from common hardware components from your local hardware store & 3D printing. Stealing some inspiration from existing products, I decided I wanted to create a weed puller with a hand operated ejector that would help with gardening fatigue by preventing you from having to bend over to pull weeds. I had some ¼-20 All-thread rod and 1 ½" Schedule 40 PVC lying in the shed and decided to use these components as the foundation of the design, adding functionality with 3D Prints.This tool is used by stabbing or stepping the tool into the ground with the weed you want to remove central to the tool and twisting the weed with the tool. When the weed gets wound up into the nails you can eject it into your trash bag using the hand plunger.
