meant to replace the pour spout plug on gas and other containers. also, will cap the pour spout preventing anything from getting in the tank, these are not pressure rated or meant to be for long storage of hazardous chemicals. Depending on filament used chemical resistance would be associated will the filament's manufacturer. I used PLA because it worked for me on gas cans and water cans. do not use the same plugs on multiple tanks. do not cross contaminate plugs.
