Gate Latch Opener

Although the advise is that there is very low risk of picking up Covid-19 from touching a gate whilst out walking there is still a risk.
I have therefore designed the gate opener to reduce this risk. Use the tool to open the latch pull or push the gate slightly open with your foot, whilst you move the tool either to push or pull the gate fully open. You can then use the tool to operate the gate for anyone who is with you. Or just make them one for them.
It requires the addition of a dowel handle (or you could design and print one) and s screw to hold it on the shaft. I have also added some heat shrink to the ones I have made, but this is not necessary.
I have included stl files for 14mm, 15mm (GateLatchOpenerV7.stl) and 16mm (5/8”) shafts.
