GE Dryer Start-Button

Got a GE Brand Dryer with the D-lug style start button?

OF COURSE YOU'RE NOT, ya DINGUS..

So here's my solution to GE trying to extort people into buying another short-lived appliance.

How To Install:
- Remove three screws on back of control panel (top of dryer)
- SLIDE control panel to the LEFT and lift up gently
- Ensure main start-switch is still intact (if it has broken free, use 3D pen or Super Glue to Secure)
- Using needle-nose pliers, CAREFULLY pull metal D-sleeve off of plastic switch plunger
- Using either bench-vise or pliers, press-fit metal D-sleeve into printed button
- GENTLY press button onto switch plunger while supporting the back of the main switch-body until no more movement is allowed
- Re-assemble control panel (reverse of disassembly)
