Gear Bow Tie

A must have for your next (not so) formal event. This bow tie with gears actually spins! I originally designed this with my favorite sports team's logos on it, but I can't share that one. Sorry folks. I also made copies for my kids, ages 4 and 7. Printing at 80% scale was a good size for them. You will need a bow tie strap or similar to complete. Just about any brand will do as long as it is 1cm wide. I found that this one, with white straps, hides the straps against a white shirt well. Assembly:Place the four gears on the backing using bumps as guides.Snap the frame into place over the gears. It will be a tight fit. I find it is easiest if you set the backing on a table, then slowly work the for corners of the frame into place from the top down. The frame should go about a millimeter past the backing when fully seated. There is a small chance the frame may break during assembly*, but once it is on, it holds the gears nicely.Flip the assembly over and lay the bow tie strap acro
