This is a palm sized refrigerator magnet that has working gears on it! While this does take some extra materials to create than just a 3D printer, it is really cool and it is definitely worth making.
Materials:
NOTE: I used black(craft) magnets because they are cheap and they easily hold it up so don't worry about how strong the magnets really are, most will do the trick.
1.Magnets: Diameter: 18mm Height: 3mm
2.Superglue
Steps:
1.Print parts
2.Place gears on corresponding spots (they wont fit if you try to switch it around so its pretty easy to tell how they go, big gear in the middle)
3.With a VERY small amount of superglue apply caps on to axes(if you uses too much the gears will stick some when the glue oozes out)
4.Superglue the 3 magnets into place(if you get glue on top of the magnet it doesn't really matter but you will have white marks on the magnets like mine...oops)
