Gear System

In this gear system simplicity was the goal. There are two gear stages. First set is high ratio hypoid gears, with module 1 and gear ratio 1/60. Second set is spur gears with module 0,8 and number of teeth Z1=9 and Z2=75. This will make total gear ratio 1/60*1/8,33=1/500 The efficiency of first stage is 60% the second stage is 94%. Total system efficiency is 56% Backlash of first stage is 0,05…0,15mm. Second stages backlash is 0,1mm. Total backlash is 0,2mm. Gear system can be assembled in its case and later added to main box. Gears material is steel. Gear box is made from aluminum.
