Geared Phone holder

This is a spring loaded phone holder with and adjustable angle. It can hold phones in landscape and portrait orientation.

It has evolved into something of a puzzle to assemble. Not difficult, but not trivial. Some people find it fun to figure out how to assemble. I gave them out as Christmas gifts.

It can be entirely printed in PLA, but the spring won't last. That is best printed out of PETG. A layer height of 0.2mm works fine. This does have some tight tolerances and elephant foot can cause issues. No supports are needed if oriented on a build plate correctly. The tilt adjustment screw has a tiny bridge across the hinge to maintain position so it will move as one part and will print correctly (the bridge doesn't print because it's too small for the slicer).
