This is a geared polyhedron. What do you think? Is it a lofted cube octahedron? Or is it a simplified hexakis-octahedron? Who knows...
To Make Basic Geared Polyhedron:
Print 1 core - PolyCoreOBJ_STL.stl
Print 18 pins - UsePinsOBJ_STL.stl
Print 12 large gears - GearedPolyHedraGearsBig.stl
Print 6 small gears - GearedPolyHedraGearsSmall.stl
To Make Geared Polyhedron with Base and Turning Handles:
Print 1 core - PolyCoreOBJ_STL.stl
Print 18 pins - UsePinsOBJ_STL.stl
Print 12 large gears - GearedPolyHedraGearsBig.stl
Print 3 small gears - GearedPolyHedraGearsSmall.stl
Print 2 handled gears - SmallGearWithTurner_STL.stl
Print 1 base - SmallGearWithBase_STL.stl
If you print the base, you will notice a 1.75" wide by .5" tall recess in the bottom front of the base. This is for a plaque or somesuch.
