Geared Pull Return mechanism

This is a simple design i needed for a project. There is a way of making a pull longer. By expanding the lever on the left gear. And also, when you connect it to a motor if the rotating gear is bigger it takes more time to repeat the pull and return. I also designed a holder but didnt test it. i Just inserted it into a piece of wood. The bearings are roller bearings. i drilled two 8 mm holes for gears and put a washer between bearings and wood. Also above the gear a washer and a nut. You will need a bolt to rotate the active gear. there is a hole for that. The brake is just a nail with a piece of rubber on it. And there is one other nail with a rubber band. rubber band needs to be gently pulling the lever, just so it doesnt rotate clockwise, and that is enough for return. Otherwise its too hard to rotate it. You could also use a spring to return the gear.
