Geeetech ABS+ Spool Ring Adapter for Bambu Lab AMS

DescriptionThe Geeetech ABS+ Spools are filled up to the edge, so there is no way to use them in your AMS (see attached photos). Even with standard-sized spool rings (the Sunlu rings usually fit), there is not enough space to fit into the AMS. So the only way for me was to design and print Spool Rings with a greater outer diameter. But with these rings, the spool won't fit into a standard AMS any more, you have to user the AMS Lid Riser XL for Bambu Lab AMS. This XL Riser allows a maximum spool diameter of 210mm. So my Spool Ring Adapter uses this maximum size. It's still a tight fit with a fresh spool, but I had no problems so far.You won't need this adapter for Geeetech PLA Spools, because they are not filled up to the edge.InstructionsPrint 2 of the Adapters, you need one for each side of the spool.Print in PLA to minimize shrinking. When using ABS, you probably have to scale the rings up to 101% or 102%.
