Geeetech Aluminium BedProfile for Simplify 3D

This is a bed profile for the Geeetech Aluminium printer for Simplify 3d.

To use this in Windows:
1. Copy the GeeetechAl.stl file into your c:\users\yourusername\Appdata\Local\Simplify3D\S3D-Software\ folder.
2. Open Simplify3D and from the menu :
Tools\Options and select the Machine tab.
3. Towards the bottom, click the "Add" button and select the GeeetechAl.stl
4. The name will appear in the list as per the image 2 above.
5. Click OK to close the dialog and the bed will appear.

You need to do this just once.
Mac users - tough!

If the profile does not fit your bed profile correctly then do this:
You need a program like netfabb basic (free). Open it and load your model. Now adjust the X,Y,Z of the model so that the netfabb yellow bed (with squares) is exactly the correct X,Y,Z size/location. Once happy, then rt. click and "Save As" the repositioned STL and use that STL instead of the one I posted. It will now be correct in S3D.
