An upgraded and reworked version of a popular fact duct used with the stock cooling blower on geeetech machines. I didn't like the small blower and liked the 4010 fan look. I also wanted to add an Aero inspired fan cover I found on here.
The bolt holes are designed to only be mounted on the bottom holes of the stock geeetech cage but may have to be opened up a bit to fit your specific machine. The fan mount holes should be a good size to used 6/32 3/4" machine screws to thread into them. I started them without the fan and used a bic lighter to heat the bolts up and used the allen to screw them in. It does NOT take much heat to soften and cut threads. Can also use an actual tap in 6/32 size to cut them. the holes go all the way through if nuts are absolutely needed but will have to customize on your own if going that route. The top of the duct should be roughly 1-2mm away from the hotend when mounted.
Need to have your printer ready to do acceptable overhangs. I printed at 100mm
