Hi,
now GEEETech proposes the Acrylic Prusa I3 pro series, B for single extruder and C for dual extruder, with metallic parts instead of original printer ones.
Quite immediately I’ve ordered the upgrade kit in order to improve the stability and the quality of my, already not-so-bad printer, unfortunately the customization I’ve designed for the plastic version of this printer cannot be used on the metal one, so I’ve started designing a completely new customization, starting with all lesson learned from my original customization!
One of the infinites lesson learned from my original customization was the position of LCD panel.
With original GEEETech Top Mount position any action on rotary encoder can introduce a little noise on frame stability and this is not really good!
So I’ve chose, for my new customization, to move the LCD bottom ahead of front acrylic plate in order to avoid any vibration/movement of frame in case of action over rotary encoder!
In same box I’ve also moved the
