It isn't only natural-1-footed adventurers that are overtaken and consumed by the odd gelatinous cube - sometimes those acidic green menaces get their geometry onto the bones of something a little more dangerous. The gelatinous dragon is everything you hate about cubes but with the addition of flight, fangs, and so, so many more hit dice.
