If you want to shutdown the power supply after a print, this device can help you.
All your printer need to do is switching a pin to ground (the input is idle high and designed to handle 3,3v for use on a raspberry Pi), when finished.
To Re enable the power supply push the button.
The device will wait 120s before cutting the power supply, while this time the LED is blinking and you can abort the process, by pressing the abort button.
Pressing the abort button for 3s while waiting for print finished will instantaneous switch the power off
The gehaeuse_ausschaltbox.scad is just to give you a overview do not print this.
To Rebuild this you need to be able to
- program a AT-Tiny85 (source included)
- soldering a circuit
- handle high Voltage (230V in Germany) (!! Attention!! doing wrong things can kill you !!)
Buy List :
- 2* bistable relays 5V
- 1* ATTiny85
- 2* switches (low voltage)
- 1* switch (high voltage)
- a LED
- resistors (5* 10kOhm, 1* 100kOhm, 1
