GenMachine 7840HS(Yi7000) Modkit

This is a mod kit (case) for the GenMachine Yi7000 7840HS model. The existing case has an issue where temperatures rise sharply even under light load due to the absence of an intake vent for the CPU cooler.To address this, we designed the mod kit. It creates an intake vent for the CPU cooler and adds additional intake vents on both sides to improve airflow. Additionally, it can accommodate an external WiFi connector or top fan to aid cooling for the NVMe slot and PCB plate. PETG printing is recommended as the base material.However, PLA is also usable. I personally have been using a case printed with Bamboo PLA in pink for about 6 months without any issues.Nevertheless, PETG is recommended as the base material due to its superior resistance to UV exposure and temperature deformation.
