This mount uses magnets and a camera to make hitching up to your truck with a GenY gooseneck hitch a whole lot easier.Magnets need to be glued into the mount. When placing the camera into the holder, make sure the power button is on the same side as the “keyed ear” that slides into the main mount. The design is modular, so you don’t have to remove the entire mount to charge the camera; just slide the camera out. Keep in mind, the camera can lag a bit, especially when your truck is far from the hitch. Once the hitch and camera are inside the bed area, give it a few seconds to stabilize the wireless connection. Then, back up slowly until the ball lines up in the center of the camera view. To view the live feed, connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi hotspot, open the app, and select the camera. If it warns you that there’s no internet connection, just tap “Skip”, you should then be able to see the live feed.
