Hi, here is my remix !
It's my first big project ... let me know what u think and improvements are welcome ;)
This is a Suspension Lamp made with Truncated Icosahedron, with only regular Hexagons and Pentagons.
I made interchangeable faces, so you can print frames and faces with different materials and create any association you want to match your room !
BUILD :
- Print frames (2 walls / 2 top / 2 bottom / 0.2 / infill 0.4, 12% storm, one extra line support above layer)
- Print faces (2 walls / 0.2)
- Slide Faces into Frames
- Assemble Hex frames around Penta frame with transparent 2.5mm rizlan/cerflex into 3mm holes
- Continue to print Frames and Faces and build the suspension you want ! Half sphere ? Full Sphere ? As you want !
- You can also place/change faces after assembly !
- Top part where cable pass through : Print ONLY ONE TOP (same parameters as frame but infill 20% grid), choose between Penta Top OR Hex Top (the hole for cable is 7mm)
