Geoffs Magnetic Connector

Universal Magnetic Connector - based on some el-cheapo 5x5X5mm magnets from eBay.

I glued on this working prototype, but using m3 countersunk screws and nylock nuts, with one set of screws slightly loose, would work better - making sure the magnets fully connect each time. Also,a drop of CRC-808 is a good idea every few months - magic stuff that :-)

Use a hot Soldering iIron - quickly - to initially tin the magnets, then solder your wires to the magnets everything is assembled in place.
