I liked the original design, but the base was too tight for my lamp and the height was pushing my 3D printer to its limits. So I just went and cropped the base off in fusion360. I also cropped off part of the end to give it a more industrial look.
The cropped lampshade is now 16 cm high and needs less filament than the original one.
I printed it upside down and it worked well for me.
